这一次GELFAAM Mega Convention的课程上，我又看多一次SUSAN BOYLE参加初赛时的片段，每次和一大群伙伴看这短片时，都会觉得非常感动。之前有写过SUSAN BOYLE的事迹，这一次看了之后，有另外不同的想法。往往我们走向成功路上，需要一个平台让我们去发挥。如果没有这个平台，就算有多么好的功夫也没的施展出来，也没办法让人知道呀。如果SUSAN不是参加了这次的歌唱赛，您说她现在会这么出名吗？会有机会唱一首歌收费20000美金吗？她可能还只是在一个乡村里生活，不会让全世界的人都认识。就算多么的努力，没选择一个好的平台发挥您的所长，空有一身功夫，也只能是“自己爽”。

很开心参加由大东方人寿保险代理员公会举办的保险大会，可以参加几个不同很犀利的讲师的课程，而作为压轴的是我在保险路上的偶像，陈礼祥。在课程上，他谈到一个词 - 标准。成功和未成功的人分别在于我们每个人对自己有不同的标准，如果我们选择的标准只是3餐温饱，那我们可能真的只有3餐温饱，我不是说不好，只是人生有几多个十年，我们是不是应该要对得起我们的人生。而标准也必须随着阶段而改变，就比如陈礼祥先生，他开始加入保险界就是要做保险明星，而今天他做到了。另一位讲师DAVID GOH则提出一点 – FOCUS。FOCUS，焦点，中心点，很多成功人士为什么会成功，就是在乎于他们够专注，有一个焦点，望着这个FOCUS走，最后成功了。有时我们自己走下走下，自己失去了方向，其实不妨可以试下把全部衣服脱掉，关在一个没有人的房间，把灯关完，来一个对话会，一个自己和自己的对话会，了解自己，让自己走回自己要走的方向。而H.H.TAN在课程上讲到由于我们受到一般教育的影响，很多时候就会把自己的错误放到很大很大，可是往往不会想到自己的优点。试想想，如果您是女孩子，您会到处和别人说您很漂亮，身材很好吗？我和一位同事在交谈中，我告诉他关于他的优点，可是他说他竟然没察觉到。每天我们和很多人交谈，交流。可是我们有没有和自己交谈呢？说真的，这一次的保险大会，我只是参加了几个课程，但真的让我学到很多，我很希望我可以把这些学到的记得很深刻，而且可以认认真真地将之运用在我事业上和人生道路上，因为我觉得有很多道理，您和我都知道，可是真正去思考这些道理的有多少个？而真正去实践的，又有多少个？希望我们可以一起订下高的标准，专注，和发掘与强化自己的优点，一起迈向成功！！！

First time i watched this video is in a training. It really make me unbelievable that i can’t believe that a woman with old style, old fashion can really have a good voice. I think also same with the judges and the crowd. It really let me think that sometimes we must have a try, then we can know where is our limit. When facing a problem, the negative thinking people will always say that cannot this and cannot that, but how if we think problem not a problem, is a challenge for us, to make us better, stronger. We should not underrate ourselves, maybe you also can be Bill Gates, Tiger Woods or Obama…If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t

Bermuda Mystery

It is another plane that lost contact in Atlantic Ocean again. Is the tragedy just coincident? The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels are alleged to have disappeared in mysterious circumstances which fall beyond the boundaries of human error, piracy, equipment failure, or natural disasters. Popular culture has attributed some of these disappearances to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings.

The boundaries of the triangle cover the Straits of Florida, the Bahamas and the entire Caribbean island area and the Atlantic east to the Azores; others^[who?] add to it the Gulf of Mexico. The more familiar triangular boundary in most written works has as its points somewhere on the Atlantic coast of Florida; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and the mid-Atlantic island of Bermuda, with most of the accidents concentrated along the southern boundary around the Bahamas and the Florida Straits.

The area is one of the most heavily-sailed shipping lanes in the world, with ships crossing through it daily for ports in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands. Cruise ships are also plentiful, and pleasure craft regularly go back and forth between Florida and the islands. It is also a heavily flown route for commercial and private aircraft heading towards Florida, the Caribbean, and South America from points north.

人生有多少个十年... 最紧要活得痛快...

I really like this quote from Mr. Chai Kow in TVB Drama – Rosy Business. Maybe we count our life, how many years we can live, until age 70, age 80. It only have 7-8 times of ten years. Minus also for our sleep, eat, doing some non-sense things, how long life we have? And do we have really make full use of these times, and doing something that we can feel we won’t regret to come to this world. And, what the things you don’t think before, you want to think now, what the things you already think but still haven’t action yet, action now. What the things you already action but not yet done yet, done it now. What the things you already done, but not really good, make it good now. What the things already good, make it better now. What the things already better, make it best now. What the things already best(Do you think it there any prefect happened in the real time?), thinking other things that you not thinking before and repeat the step. We should be humble to learn the things we not learn before. How do you think???

Steamboat Gathering - 27 May 2009

JCI Lahad Datu organized Steamboat Gathering at Good View Restaurant on 27 May 2009. It is about 15 members and 1 JCI friends and the organizing chairman JC Vanessah done a very good job. During the dinner, we have also brainstormed about JCI Week 2009 and get a good respond from the members.

JCI Presenter & Trainer 2009

I am very proud that can participate this training. It is first time conducted in Area Sabah by JCI Kota Kinabalu and JCI Penampang. The training is from 22 to 24 May 2009. These training main focus to train us to give the adult training efficiently. There are 19 members from Area Sabah and JCI Philippines. The head trainer is Marc and assistant trainer is Maan.
